Old videos, do you like yours?

I watch them after a awhile without seeing them to get that "fresh eyes" perspective. Then I critique what I like and didn't like. The good stuff I keep and anything that can be changed I try to work that into my next video. Usually the production values increase with newer videos as I knew what to expect and planned better.

I've been on YouTube for.. Almost 3 years now I think (crazy to think about and I feel like I've made no progress.. Besides the point!)
And regarding my old videos... All of the ones I'm actually embarrassed I (stupidly) deleted a bunch of them, probably 10-15 or so, which I do regret, and the few I hate as of now I just have on private for nobody to find... because I still made the videos, and even if they are trash, I stll care about them! it's still my progress and my story on YouTube so.. Yeah
I don't hate them... Id just rather nobody else see them;pp

I love seeing my old videos. It shows as a testament to me on how far I have come and where my style began to iron out for me.
It's a great way of knowing where I started and where I want to go in my internet lifestyle

Hello there!
I have been doing Youtube for about 3 months now, and when I decided to look back at my first video. The first thing that struck my mind after I finished the video was "How did I dare upload this?". The thing that shocked me even more, is that how my friends were all like "Amazing video! You really need to do this more!" and when I asked them to be honest. They stayed with that same side.

As we progress forwards, we have higher standards as we improve. It is different for all of us of course. I think I improved a lot that it just took me 18 videos to realise how terrible my first was. So my question to you is, if you look back to your first video. How do you feel about it? Did you ever look at other Youtuber's first video? What did you think of it as well? :p

When i look back at my first couple of videos i cringe because they are really bad, it was when i was using a headset as a mic and it was just bad

My first videos weren't too cringy, but I don't think anyone would be interested in them other than myself. I would film while walking on hikes or walking through cities...or the train...there was no talking, just walking around with a camera. ^^ I also went down to my parent's chicken coop and filmed the chickens a lot. I loved those chickens SO MUCH! xD
