Okay big noob question here

Its cool just thought it could be worth a try :)

To be honest I'm happy with the current quality I have but damn it can eat through file sizes and chew memory like crazy!
Well yeah, that's why I have 2 external hard drives for my videos to be backed up on instead of my computers internal hard drive :p

Haven't got round to buying an external HD yet but I am going to get one at some point, it shall be the video pit lol.

But are there any (if any) good pieces of software I can use that reduce my file size but keep the quality high.............probably not but its worth asking you guys.

I have a program I already use called hand brake but I have stopped using it recently since it never really made a big impact in my eyes.

So yeah any good advice for me :3
if you have the money you can use sony vegas and adobe premier pro you can use them for editing and they can bring a 20gb file down to around 1gb possibly less they are a good option to go if you want :)

I would have to look into cost but thats a very good suggestion :)
