Not Going Anywhere

Hi everyone,

I make gaming videos for my channel and have around 250 subscribers. However, no matter how much promoting I do (don't do sub for sub and all that) I just can't seem to get any video views or new subscribers. I have an intro, commentate confidently, a nice logo, a youtube one background, custom thumbnails etc. so what more do I need to do in order to gain new subscribers and get some video views?

Thanks guys

I upload twice a week, is that ok?
For a gaming channel, you should be uploading more often. I'd say try to upload daily, or every other day. Of course if that schedule doesn't work for you, don't force yourself into it. Work with a schedule that you're happy with.

What i'm pretty much saying is your not gaining more views or subscribers because you don't have much content. With only 11 videos, you don't have much room for people to find your videos.

I know what you mean with not having much room to find my videos, it's just with school work and exams etc. I struggle to upload more than twice a week. I guess persevering is just key

You also upload not very popular games.

Holy crap, you weren't kidding that's not just gaming commentary that's actual commentary, I actually found it amusing xD 250 subs for only 11 videos is a pretty good start. I'd say stick with whatever schedule you can get and work with it. As GAT said, you don't want to force it, the more natural it is the better. But honestly, this is probably the first channel I've seen (keeping in mind I don't know too many and usually stick with 1s I got) that does commentary like an actual commentator, so you have something going for you. Unfortunately I have no interest in any of these games. Maybe wait until WWE 2k14 comes out? Or try Fifa? If you're only into racing games you could wait for GT 6 or maybe expand beyond F1. I noticed you did Forza 4. Forza 5 is hitting XOne as a launch title, so people should be looking that up a fair bit, I think with your commentary it might offer them something interesting and different to watch. Of course you would have to buy the XOne which could be an expensive investment. I to am running out of content but I can't force it either, even with all this free time I have.

Well is that not obvious(i checked your channel). You don't have a video library(you only have 11 video's) and you don't upload often.

You could try Twitter to get yourself out there, maybe find someone of a similar size to collaborate with (assuming their willing). Or could you go obviously with the playing of mainstream games even if its just a for commentary, most gameplays I see these days are either Battlefield or Cod. Thing is try and add something to your videos, think outside the box.... coming from a guy who has only 124 subs mind I used a fake easycap formally but your off to a very good start, 250 congrats. It's taking me months to get 100 haha. Generally mix it up a little, your commentaries are good too. Good luck

I aim for once a week but I am not entirely a gaming channel since I don't really do lets plays and such. I do guides and favorite moments etc.

Hell maybe I am just lazy lol.
