Yeah, I feel like I'm in your exact situation. I upload every other day (going to start uploading daily soon) and make live commentaries all the time. I've been stuck at my subscriber count for a while now, and can't seem to grow a bigger audience. For your case, I would just say upload more often and just wait a couple months.
 
If your channel is small best thing you can do is making really unique and quality content and you cant do it too often. There is no point in dowloading 7 mediocre videos a week so go quality first not quantity. Prepare yourself to wait for a long time, it may take a few month to gain subs even if you make best vids in the world[DOUBLEPOST=1382688523,1382688142][/DOUBLEPOST]For me it took 6 month to get 500 subs but 2 month later i have 20k subs with only 27 vids on my channel.

Once you join the youtube partner program (or if you're already partnered) you can prepare a 3-4 videos on the weekends and schedule them to be uploaded every other day for the next week.

I know exactly how you feel. I too am in that area where not a whole lot of progress is happening with Subscribers. Honestly when it comes down to it, you just need to focus on uploading more and being as interactive as you can with the Subscribers that you've got. Also, try to upload a combination of some mainstream games, and obscure titles. However don't do anything you aren't/won't enjoy, if people can see that you aren't having genuine fun then that may turn them off.

The hardest thing to do for gaming channels is generally to break through the beginning stages of Subscriber count more that anything(anywhere from 100-3000). Usually if you can get past that mark, things tend to pick up steam. It's just an observation on my part so, take that with a grain of salt.
 
I have a regular schedule of Tuesday and Friday and with school, revision, exams etc. it's hard to upload more than that. Not to forget playing sports in my other spare time
 
I would say just keep going at it man.
The more videos you have the better.
I don't know many, but I do know of some people that had no growth for a long period of time.
But eventually, some of their videos finally caught on because they kept at it.
I mean, think about it. If you stumble upon a video you REALLY enjoyed, there is a chance you'll click on that persons profile to check out some other content right?
Basically, if you specialize in a specific game or genre, people that like that kind of stuff will eventually come and stay for the ride (hopefully)
Or if you are kinda all over the place with what you play then maybe you can get some attention because you have variety.
Just keep at it and I"m sure things'll turn around sometime.
 
I try to put one out every other day, and it still isn't enough. I too have been stagnate. So I'm not sure how much constant uploads help, but it may or may not be negligible for an impact.
Best thing to do is to keep on uploading, expand your horizons in gaming videos, and hope.
