New Custom URL terms

I feel that it's great thing but I also feel it kind of sucks lol. It's great considering how easy it is to become a Youtube Partner it actually sets a standard that you have to meet to unlock the Custom URL. Then again it kind of sucks bc my prior channel had a really good reception and was really successful in a short time and I literally had to change channels just to change my URL so I'm literally starting back from the bottom again -_-. With the new change are you able to change your URL more than once if you meet those requirements?
 
I can't find the option to change the URL

I have been working really hard for my Gaming YouTube Channel. I now have over 110 videos and upload almost everyday. I am always looking for feedback on my channel and hope anyone that likes my content subscribes. If you subscribe please leave a video message and I will then check out your channel and subscribe if I like your content.

Hmm, I don't really mind, I guess, if I cannot reach 500 subs than I really don't deserve a better URL.
My problem with this is that I linked all my page to my channel page... and I take SEO very seriously so we are actually on every single social site out there... but what happens when I finally can change the URL??? Do I have to change everything again? Isn't it REALLY BAD for the SEO??? that google finally can see us, a lot of previous posts on a lot of sites pointing to my channel. What happens with those? I will lose them? Cause in that case...f***k custom url, I don't need it that much :D

I just accepted my new URL link for my youtube, but I don't like it :( Youtube never gave me an option to "custom" my URL. My username is literally from middle school...
 
I think its really unfair that someone with no videos and really low subscribers has got a custom url but some hardworking video posting user doesn't :(

I took this option and had my Google Plus page linked to my website and verified about a month ago but still haven't gotten any news of a custom URL. Not only that but there doesn't seem to be any additional information on the matter or anywhere to contact them to ask. Really annoying.

Check under creator studio or on your google+ page there should a little box that says claim your url.
