NEW CHANNEL URL SUCKS!

So the new channel URL instead of this

youtube.com/user/[insert channel name] its now

youtube.com/c/[insert channel name]


The problem with this is, when you search your channel url when you land on your own channel page the URL is converted to a bunch of letters and numbers. Further for websites like this one where it requires a Channel ID or User URL I am unable to link my channel because of this new URL type -

is anyone else finding this really, really annoying!
 
Yeah I hate it, It's just so confusing. I created a channel name UGamerChannel and though this was a okay name. However I discovered recently that someone already owns /user/UGamerChannel, so if someone searches /UGamerChannel without the /c/ they will be directed to a channel that is inactive for almost 3 years.
