Need some OBS help

I've Got It
I was playing Halo 5 with a friend and was recording it through obs so I can sync the conversation during the game. Everything was good or so I thought until I went back and looked at the recorded footage. The voices were synced, the menu screen looked HD, but once I got to the game play footage it was straight a**. The recording was synced and everything but the game play looked worse than 480p. Once the game was over the resolution in the main menu went back to crystal clear.

Also the video file wouldn't go in to my Sony Vegas project.

If you know how to fix this issue I would be very thankful.
 
i can help. the sony vegas issue could be it is saving as a .flv file not a .mp4 and you may have not had the right setup as far as obs
