Really interesting post. I have used newgrounds twice and I find more or less what I was looking for. Now I find many stuff like in twitter, or even youtube of course.
If you check my channel you could find some non copyrighted music for your videos :smug:
Thanks!

if you're looking for something with a little bit of a beat to it i would suggest this Youtuber, he's pretty new to the scene but have some fantastic beats.

I asked him as well, he said that as long as you give him a mention in the description (and maybe in the video, if you're feeling kind ^^) and link to his channel then he's more then happy to let you use him music.

OR, if you're wanting some easier listening i would suggest CMA, recently i used there track called "Timeless" (Full Version) for my background music in a snapshot review video, worked really nicely and didn't over power the commentary at all.

hope that helps people out, keep the videos coming ^_^

This was really great, thanks to everyone for the info and for all the people who're letting these be used royalty free! :)

When I was looking for music I came across this page: socialtimes(dot)com/royalty-free-music_b37470
It lists 10 sites that have royalty free music that I've actually found very useful. My favorite is ccmixter, they have some really good stuff there, you just have to take the time and search through it. Dano-Songs also has a really cool collections of many different styles of music.

If you want more, you can look up "royalty free music" on google, and should find something. If you know of any other reliable sources that you'd like to share, please link it down below for the use of others.

Careful using this option. Just because it is "Royalty Free" does not mean you can use it FREE.

A lot of times you still have to pay for "Royalty Free". You must buy a disk or pay for the song and it comes with "rights".

You can't just download something (like ripping it) that costs money and use it. There is still a chance of getting in trouble if they ever found out.
Likelihood of someone finding out is probably zero to none, but better safe than sorry. Especially if you become a YouTube celebrity!

Make sure you understand the terms of the Royalty Free Music as well, some sites offer a limited use term, or one-time use term.
Be very careful.

I suggest making friends with producers who create original music and work on projects with them.
Then you have almost ZERO chance of something going wrong, you will have music that 100000000 other people didn't use AND you get to work with cool people to help expand each others networks!

I upload copyright free music on my channel, you would be suprised how much good music you can get without infringing copyright laws if you look in the right place

Thanx man! GREAT INFO!
I would like to support it with one example.

Im also having big problem with music. And, finding someone to do music for u or just to use someones music is probably great way to have quality sound for ur video and additionally promote each other. My choice was band House of Ghosts, since they are the style that I was looking for, and, you'd be surprised how easy it is to get something. Of course, you should find a proper way to promote 'em as well (promoting their channel or writing their name in credits and description etc.)

Here you can check out my channel and see how this cooperation is looking in my case ^__^

SO, IT IS POSSIBLE, AND USEFUL! And, little bit music research wouldn't harm anyone.
