Near 6,000 subscribers, yet barely no one watches?

Most of my views come from non-subscribers. The subscribe button is usually referred to as a like button. Only the hard-core YouTubers use it as intended, to subscribe to those they really like ONLY.

I believe out of the many 6k subscribers, there is probably a lot of dormant subscribers, and by that, I mean the ones who have subscribed have either just missed the new uploads and not bothered to watch them, or they may have subscribed but never check their subscription boxes.

Just a huge problem I'm having, I've posted about it before, but it seems the more people subscribe, the less people watch.. it's weird, but I thought people who subscribe, subscribe because they like the content? I've been on YouTube near 2 and a half years, I upload consistently and spend hours editing each video to make them the best they can be, yet there's no reward for that. Just frustrating I guess.
I feel you bro at, im in the same boat recently my subs have just slowly stopped watching my videos. I even question my self if my videos are even good. I got such good reviews and feedback but yet my views still decrease. Im Kinda frustrated.

I honestly think it depends on how often you show up on your subscribers home page.
The more you can do that, then the more you have a chance to be watched. Also, take a look at your most successful videos in terms of views and steer towards making more content with that type of subject matter.

From what I see it looks pretty good. I know I have subscribed to a lot of people as well, but I don't have nearly enough to check them all out everyday. So maybe for most of your subscribers they also are going through and trying to watch what ever they can, but aren't getting to your videos yet.

Either way, it seems like you're DayZ videos are doing pretty good. Maybe a bunch of your subscribers are tuning in when you put up a new DayZ video?

Thanks for the link DBA, it's a very useful analytic to measure overall growth from subscribers. I've had a look at a lot of Youtubers' numbers and it seems like the average views from subscribers is about 10%, so I wouldn't get too down about subs not engaging.

That said, it seems like it's been a down couple of weeks for a lot of us..

Wow what is this report I clicked? It looks like when the stock market crashed!
It shows the views from your subscribers, which should show an upward trend as you gain subscribers. Hopefully the right side of this chart is higher than the left.

Unless you upload daily, there will most likely be fluctuations as the bulk of subscriber views tend to come in the first days of posting the video.

I think usually the amount of views you can mostly will be from non subs! If you look at pewpiedie, his sub is 36 mills but average watch per vid for him is 1 mills.
