Near 6,000 subscribers, yet barely no one watches?

How many hours a week would you say you put in just curious? Looks like a good channel, good thumbnails, one of your videos from 2 weeks ago has got nearly 30k views already not too shabby.
Too many to count buddy, and that was aside of doing a degree in University, my most recent video, I spent a good few hours editing, yet no one watches it, it's frustrating.. but yeah, all my popular Witcher 3 videos just got lucky and got in search rankings, nothing solid though, I just want my fanbase to be active. It sucks they're completely inactive[DOUBLEPOST=1433003301,1433003268][/DOUBLEPOST]
As long as your long term trend is upwards I wouldn't be concerned with a 10 day drop, there are lots of ups and downs. Here's my last 365 days. You can see when I didn't upload much.

The whole line is all over the place for me really, I get lucky, then it goes down, then I get lucky, yet I know people with tons less subscribers who have tons more active, it's silly..

Haha unfortunately, I have near 6000 people who subscribe then never watch, it makes my channel look stupidly bad, which is disappointing considering the time and effort I put in!
What percentage of your views are from subscribers? The average between two channels I manage (80k & 18k subs) is between 8-15% of views come from subscribers.

Do you engage your audience? Do you spend one on one time with them? How about the people who watch and comment consistently, do you private message them or check out their content once in a while? How about comments, do you answer them all?

I have the opposite. My videos have about 1,000-3,000 views each but only 500 or so subs. But I just started soo...

honestly when I look at your channel, your views seem roughly average for the amount of sub's you have. if you've been doing this for 2.5 years, theres a good chance a large chunk of your sub's are inactive. and you have lots of videos in the 1000-2500 range, and even a video w/ over 20k, so I see nothing out of the ordinary here.

I've been affected by this as well. I see people watch a video but they don't get involved when I know that I have high quality content available. But people don't seem to pay me no mind. :(

However, random people whom aren't TROLLS have been finding my old videos recently and leaving good commenting on them. I feel so special because those videos are CRAP.

Just a huge problem I'm having, I've posted about it before, but it seems the more people subscribe, the less people watch.. it's weird, but I thought people who subscribe, subscribe because they like the content? I've been on YouTube near 2 and a half years, I upload consistently and spend hours editing each video to make them the best they can be, yet there's no reward for that. Just frustrating I guess.

DBA, thanks for that link. Never thought to look at my stats like that.

I have over 1600 subs, and I recently put out a video asking for feedback and about 25 have watched so far with no comments at all. So, you're not the only one who would like more engagement from their viewers. Depends on the type of channel though as mine is a news type channel that I do not appear in personally.

Only 2% of our views this month have came from subscribers lol

I have got 12% on my solo channel, though.

Mine in fact is pretty good and sometimes I even get more than how many subs I have! I currently have 4k something subs and I'm getting around 3-4k a video and sometimes it even goes over that!
