My channel is not visible in YouTube search

Certified Nooby

New Member
I have a channel named Certified Nooby - youtube.com/channel/UCQHaMFRzxLS0PJDF6f-acaw but it is not visible in YouTube search even after applying the "Channels" filter.

I have 3 public videos out of which, all 3 are fully monetized and I have 0 community guidelines strike and 0 copyright strike and my account is in a good standing.

The videos on my channel have a unique name and they don't come up in the YouTube search. And there is no other channel named Certified Nooby.

I haven't done any malpractices and my channel name, profile photo and channel art is same for more than 1 year.

Also, restricted mode is disabled.

Can someone tell me why this is happening and how it can be solved?

8 subscribers and 2,000 views with only 3 videos ? Thats really good man keep it up. But my channel (MarcoNotPolo) was doing the same thing and i have a one of a kind unique name. But after posting more and more videos my channel eventually popped up. Give it some time and you should be good

YouTube search works by picking up keywords and trying to contextually interpret the search term and return results to the user based on their perceived relevancy. Looking at your channel name, video names and the "strength" of your channel (based on age, probable watch time and number of videos etc) I would say from a contextual point of view, YouTube is deciding that other videos and channels are more relevant (not that they actually are)

But taking your channel name in isolation "certified noob" those 2 keywords have huge search volume and i'd imagine they are terms used over and over in many different contexts. As you channel gathers pace, you should be able to show up for your brand name, and your videos will start to show up more too. Give it time, but because of the context of the key terms used in your channel and video names, they are liable to be outranked in the early days from a contextual point of view.

I hope that makes sense :D

This right here.

Do you also have your channel name in your description? When I first started making that minor change did wonders for me. I actually had to spam my name in the description.

Doesn't matter. If you have channel name in video tag, there should be that video with your channel in search. But for some reason it isn't. I had opposite "problem" in past, I had strange channel name, so I put channel name in video tag, and in search I've got it. So .... strange problem.

Btw I tried to find your channel by name, still 49 search resaults, but no your channel or your videos in that list.
