Music Music promotion channel {Guaranteed recognition}

In the past I have made mashups and been copyrighted without being partnered so unless thats changed i think your incorrect.

Mashups. There is your issue. You don't own the songs used.[DOUBLEPOST=1375208877,1375208852][/DOUBLEPOST]
Is that so? Would you be able to answer some questions on the subject? We've been trying to do as much research as possible, but different sources argue and there actually isn't too much literature on the subject. Also, can you provide a link to either the video or the album on iTunes?

Nope, channel has been taken down. No longer wanted to do it.

How long ago did you take it down? Perhaps your information is out of date? Yes, mashups would be taken down. I'm saying that some aggregators make it a pain to put it up on YouTube, whether you own it or have given permission to others.

But I dont own the songs other people would upload, but i get it, it's because it wouldn't be copyrighted as its not using existing music or copyrighted existing music.

My songs were posted in last 2011 and remained up until roughly November 2012 before I called it quits.

Okay, so 2011. Once you get it up there, it really should be much simpler. I don't know how much things have changed, but a lot of new aggregators started this year.

how come you quit?

Band fell apart and didn't want to digitally record the drum and keyboard parts.[DOUBLEPOST=1375209573,1375209542][/DOUBLEPOST]

I wouldn't think it would have changed that much, it was just over a year and a half ago.

Hello YTtalk users, today I have brought back my true passion which is music into a whole brand new channel for music producers such as myself. This channel will promote your music productions and gain yourself exposure, the more help I have at first the quicker we can grow together.

I hope I can have some willing volunteers, I will not be making money off this, all this channel is to help others and be happy uploading brilliant music from myself and different people.

Reply or message for more information on how to join. There is nothing there yet but here is the channel anyway:

Channel promotion is not allowed in the Collaboration section. Edit your post.

Willing to join this :) Got originals, so no worrying about copyright strikes or anything. Currently working on two more videos too :)
