Yeah I guess they wouldHow? Unless he has filed they song with them, YouTube will not recognize it.
Because if it is the same audio, and perhaps the same visual, as a video I posted, it might catch that. How would he get a strike if he posted your song with your permission?

You are right about the copyright claim, I submit to that one. However, what do you know about internet music creation? Have you thought about the fact that music aggregators ARE recognized by YouTube? Have you thought about how that means that if my music is on iTunes through one of those aggregators that YouTube might take down his video for stealing it unless he has permission, and we're having a hard enough time proving that we own it ourselves .You aren't partnered. Your audio is not recognized by YouTube. You would have to file a copyright claim on his video. Do people not get how YouTube works?

In the past I have made mashups and been copyrighted without being partnered so unless thats changed i think your incorrect.Yes they are recognized by YouTube. If and only if you apply to claim your copyright on a song. I've made my own songs before, put them on YouTube and iTunes and had no issues. You should do some more research.
Is that so? Would you be able to answer some questions on the subject? We've been trying to do as much research as possible, but different sources argue and there actually isn't too much literature on the subject. Also, can you provide a link to either the video or the album on iTunes?Yes they are recognized by YouTube. If and only if you apply to claim your copyright on a song.
