'Music' - Can I use it?

Yeah man it's all good, basically:
1) go to "creator studio"
2) then hit "create" on the left..
3) hit "ad-supported music" and "sound effects" pretty much everything is listed there bro! :D
It wont let me download ad -supported music. Any ideas why?

They won't let you download from YouTube but you can use a youtube converter to download the mp3 from a music video!

Well I'm not going to argue with you but YouTube's FAQ clearly says that the ad supported music songs is not a copyright infringement
Link me where they say that. That is a hundred percent false. The only time that is fine is if the license for the song allows it.
If I made a song and you used it in a video without consent, I am within my rights to take the video down.

explain why YouTube has Cover Song Revenue Sharing??? Explain why thousands of Copyright owners I've emailed have told me you no longer need a license and they allow you to use about 90 percent of their songs without a take down. Explain why The National Music Publishing Rights Organizing opened up a YouTube License offer to these publishers. Explain all of this without saying it's false. IT's all over the web. Even if you call Sony/ATV publishing they will tell you the same thing I just said.

SOME publishers allow it/have programs set in place for it. What you've said is that you can use all songs without fear, which is not true. In nearly every case though, if you use a song that is in the content ID system it will either be flagged for take down or all revenue from that video will be taken by the rights owners. That's how it works.

I never said you can use anything without a problem. Also maybe it's because I have relations with the music industry my written permission is enough. Basically I'm told in writing I have permission to upload the song unless I'm personally told otherwise. They will update me if it's different.

Of course that depends on the publisher. I doubt you have written permision from every publisher/record label out there.
