Most Annoying YouTube Promotional Technique?

someone messaging me "hey i subbed, sub back?" i tend to ignore them but it puts me in an awkward situation :/

I will check their channel out in that situation and sub if I genuinely enjoy their content. I feel that if they actually subbed then the least I can do is watch one of their videos.

the comments on videos for self promotion I basically am immune to BUT what annoys me the most is like RushMyPancake's picture the ones were they are like "Hey im just starting off / im taking youtube serious now and I found you from blah blah blah and I was hoping you could check out my channel and subscribe to me and watch this and watch that oh and here let me attach one of my videos that you most likely don't care about" I might be over dramatic about that but that's what I see when they send me a pm like that ive had like 2x-7x times the views and subscribers I have. Like by now if you should know not to spam self promotions especially the 2k-3k subscriber people and then I get people that litterally want to post video responses on mine (I have the approved only) setting on mine but sometimes they are not even about the game that i'm playing it's pathetic in my opinion but ya story over

I message them though if they do that kind of stuff especially the ones that pm me those messages I tell them straight out its spam and I don't want it and they should know by now not to do this. 9.5/10 times they won't respond back after I message them back haha

These do get annoying but with the amount of gamers out there now its very hard to get recognised but its worse when they do it on smaller channels and take peoples subs

When people inbox me, asking me to check out their channel and subscribe, but they don't say anything at all about my channel, not even some critisism or saying which video they have enjoyed. Just seems rude! :s

I can list a ton of annoying youtube promotional stuff
1. Playing games that they don't enjoy example one of my favorite youtubers minnesotaburns playing minecraft. I don't know if he enjoys it but look at all his previous content CODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD and trolling. Now its a Let's Play of minecraft random and with a youtuber he always works with its for views and to grow.
2. Misleading Thumbnails something that has nothing to do with the video like boobs all over the place.
3. Female youtubers and male youtubers using physical features. I don't see to many males doing it but its like hey just produce good content.
4. COD trailer postings of like official info breaking down stuff from the official Call Of Duty. STOP Reposting it damnnnnnnn

I hate when people inbox me to watch some video and its not even theirs! Like seriously? They always post trending videos of cats and Charlie bit my finger. I mean hello I am a youtube addict, I probably watched every trending video existing.
