Minecraft Capture Software - Advice

Fraps: Great quality, simple to use, big files, not many options to choose from.

Dxtory: Also great, not as simple to use, lots of options to choose from.

Bandicam: Great, simple to use, more options than fraps less than Dxtory.

These are 3 that I've had experience with, I mainly use Fraps and Bandicam and hardly ever use Dxtory, but I still think Dxtory is probably the best choice.

I use Dxtory. Multiple audio streams are Da s**t!

I play Minecraft in 1080p, dxtory records in 720p and I think the file size is about 1 GB/ min. (20 min video = 20 GB) (lagarith lossless codec)

I then render in sony movie studio to h.264 720p and the file size drops to around 1GB (8mb vbr) for 20 min of gameplay.

Hey Apoxa, I have to agree with you there. Camera Studio looks pretty good. I think quite alot of users start of with that software and after few gameplays they change to Fraps for better quality etc.
I still haven't had the chance to check out Camera Studio. Hopefully later today I will be checking it out.

Use OBS. Its legally free, so easy to record game and mic volume, and has pretty good graphics. and when you play next to no lag

Lol, raw Fraps files are way larger than that for me. Typically 1 minute of footage turns out being around 1 GB, at least for recording in 720p, Minecraft of course.

I use handicam it's decent easy to set up. Just it may just be my computer but it lags down to 20fps
