Making the most of a Canon T3

30 pounds? Sounds like a good deal to me. Btw, if you're planning to record covers I suggest buying a microphone first (if you don't have one already). Softboxes may improve your video quality a bit, but it's more important to have clear sound wihtout any electronic sounds of your camera. If you're mostly into just singing buy a shotgun mic (Rode Videomic Pro is probably the best one). If you plan to include other singers or instruments you should definitely get a stereo microphone or recorder (something like Zoom H1).


Oh dw I have a mic! Its a AKG acoustics large diaphragm condenser microphone. I just need a sound card for it. theres a alesis io2 bidding for £6 and Im trying really hard to bid for it.
