Why help someone who isn't willing to help themselves

If you haven't proven that you have put in the time and work, why should someone else do it for you?

Like, if they help a channel that has a good idea and a good shot to grow, that channel will grow and will make more than 2$ per month!
I dont know, that´s just my opinion.

Your logic is correct but from a business perspective they don't have the time or s***s to give to take that risk. It's unfortunately purely about the $$$ for networks. I'm still waiting for something unique to come along and change the way networks work but even then, getting picked is like 1 in a million.

Sounds like you might prefer a smaller network. But it makes no sense to take a channel that has no grown over a channel that has already started to grow.

And why is unfortunate that it is purely about the money. Maker is a business not your mother. You need to put in the work yourself and then you'll get rewarded. Can't stand people that want others to do the work for them. If you believe that is what a network is and what a network is suppose to do, then you might want to find another hobby.

Or I could just stay with AdSense... If I'm going to put in the work to grow myself, I'll continue to grow by myself as much as I can. If there's a network out there that wants to help then I'll join with them, if not, I'll wait for 1 that isn't going to just take a cut and toss me aside. I'll work to grow but I won't let anyone else take from my success if I do. I'm not going to give a company a cut just for serving a few extra ads at the push of a button unless they offer me something more than that. It's a cycle that has the possibility to work itself out, there's a difference between helping a random channel that has no views and a difference between actually taking the time to see if a channel has potential and helping them grow to gain decent views, the more a channel grows the more money it can earn the network.

Then a network isn't for you. Many content creators think that network are suppose to help them grow but that just isn't the case. They might provide tools and resources but the traffic is still dependent on the uploader. As a member of Maker, I wouldn't even consider any network until you get to 1k.

Yes I know a network isn't for me.... that's kind of the whole reason I avoid them lol But the logic still stands as is, within reason.
Yeah I did an honest review of Maker Gen a few months ago but was deleted by staff members. I feel like too many people are signing up for networks like Maker and end up disappointed with the results. I happen to enjoy Maker Studios but I knew what to expect.

The initial point was that Maker should focus on content rather than views. I think only a fool would think that is a smart business move. Yes quality of the videos is important, but usually if a video has many subs/views then they are doing something right.

And I understand you wishing there was a network that would help promote and increase viewers. But in reality there isn't a network that will risk the cost over the reward.

What qualifies as "Good" is subjective. It's entirely down to advertising revenue - "Good ideas" with no views never made anybody any money.
