TeenagerInProgress

I've Got It
Hi everyone, my name´s João Pedro and im the owner of the TeenagerInProgress channel.
TeenagerInProgress, a channel that is catchy for teenagers and with some help could grow so MUCH!
Yesterday i went to the Maker Gen website and tried to apply, the following message popped up:
"Thank you for your interest in partnering with Maker Studios.

While we'd love for you to join the Maker family, our records show that your account does not currently meet the minimum monthly viewership threshold, which prevents us from being able to partner with you at this time.

Please refer to Maker Max to learn more about your views threshold, and check back daily for new tips and tricks on increasing viewership.

We check channel viewership every day to see if your account meets the views threshold. Please check back regularly to monitor your channel's status!"

I think my channel has a GREAT idea and a good chance to win between some youtubers but you guys are interested in views?
We need a network to help us growing because we have good ideas, not because we have views!

Why do we even talk about our channel on the "Apply form"?
Think about that and thanks for reading.

Its a network ofcourse they'll mostly concentrate on revenue they can get for themselves. You can still settle with adsense with no requirements.

*Hm features and music cost us $2 per channel so lets accept channels that make less than $2 for us a month*

Im not saying that the requirements are bad but they should have a look at the channel and the idea of the channel[DOUBLEPOST=1419634487,1419634405][/DOUBLEPOST]

Like, if they help a channel that has a good idea and a good shot to grow, that channel will grow and will make more than 2$ per month!
I dont know, that´s just my opinion.

A lot of people have good ideas - lots of monthly views is a fine indicator that you can execute them as well :) A network would shut down fast if they were to give everyone with a good idea a chance ;) Also "getting to know the channel" takes some time, and is not really worth the extra work most of the time!

Yeah, i dont think the same way because, for example, you can have a great voice, but without help, its going to be hard to get yourself out there, right?
But yeah, it would give a lot of work but that´s what i think a network should do :)

A network is not a necessity in any form or way. You can grow without one ;) Of course it is hard (both with and without network) to get yourself out there - but never is it impossible, if you are willing to put in the work. But I can understand your viewpoint :) And my guess is that they sometimes DO take risks like that - but most times it just isn't profitable.

Yep, i think my channel could grow so much with a network help, but i guess i´ll just try to grow alone and with the community :D

no thats a lie snap yourself out of it. networks don't help you gain anything they are there to share info about stuff nothing more is needed. you cant make a network do anything you're only a teen with videos what can you offer? nothing thats why you been rejected. everyone has ideas and all ideas are worth $0 so unless you proof that the idea is worth something you will only be a teen with videos.

I don't think you understand what a network is for. Networks focus on views because the purpose of a network is for THEM specifically to gain. Their purpose isn't to get you views. No network helps you get views. I honestly don't think you should even join a network.
