I know. Many people assume just RAM though since it's the most well known. I've been building computers for years, more than well aware.

Well right now i have a PC and I have grown up on them never had a Mac. I'm getting a desktop in around a month, and I was wondering for editing, gaming and everything. Which is more user friendly, lasts longer, your preference and why? Mac or PC? No arguing about it. just your personal opinion

Not sure what games you are planning on playing but most of the modern games are for PC not MAC, just keep that in mind when purchasing

Yeah thats something I'm thinking of atm. I'm prob gonna get a PC desktop since gaming needs more power. And maybe a macbook for editing.

Scrap the MacBook and use the money to buy more powerfull CPU and GPU for the PC and you can edit on there as well.
