Loosing Subs Fast

I think everyone has had the same problem at one point. I am surprised I haven't had some more hate for a while - it's a constant possibility when you're a fatty :P

Nothing seems wrong with your channel or videos maybe you just rubbed someone the wrong way or someone was just out to irritate someone. You get them now and then but they should go away.

Also I think sub retention is down to how you make the subs. If you trick people into subbing, bribe them into subbing, do sub4sub, pay for subs or anything like that they are far from loyal followers and likely to leave en masse. Also you have to consider spam accounts that get removed eventually, I guess?
 
It takes alot of time and effort to maintain a constant fanbase trust me. I lose a bunch of subscribers a month but i gain alot more so it doesnt really matter overall. Accounts are being closed constantly and some people just unsub for whatever reason.
If you want to be successful on YouTube you really do have to keep the content flowing and at a decent level of quality. I upload 7 days a week right now as im only in college so plenty of time during the day but its really the only way i can keep maintaining new subscribers, viewers etc.
Whatever you do dont get disheartened no matter what happens!
 
It happens and you'll always lose subs. You notice it more as a small channel. There are weird ups and downs sometimes. At the moment I get like 1 sub every other day on average. But at the weekend I noticed that last Friday looked normal with 1 new sub however when I checked the detailed stats I gained 5 but lost 4. Guess it was because I promoted a video on Facebook and Reddit. Some people might have checked it out, subbed but later unsubbed again.
 
They might just be dead accounts that have dropped off. It happens. Or maybe someone subbed to you expecting one back so when you didn't they just unsubbed...in which case they weren't watching your videos anyway. If people are disliking...they're paying attention. It doesn't have to be a bad thing.
 
Stuff like this is always going to happen even the big YouTubers have a pretty big dislike bar but all you gotta do is take it in the chin, keep your head held high and keep posting content, at first they will laugh then they will follow!!!
