I was just about to say this. Netflix has some awesome documentaries, TV shows, movies. Okay the movie selection gets stale, but with all the aforementioned docs/tv I really don't see the point in paying to watch things I've never heard of when I can watch high quality, prime time stuff for free. I already pay for a TV licence, I am not paying for crappy streaming internet on a 'per show' basis at $2 a show!
 
Like I said on the facebook page. Vimeo also has a pay to watch option. You have to pay for 1 video. This is a whole subscription I would probably never take.

Also all example channels are not visible in my country.
 
After doing a bit more research, it appears that YouTube chose these channels for the launch because there is no risk to either party. Every channel has a viable subscription model outside of YouTube and this is simply another option for people who wish to pay for a subscription. It probably won't stay that way for long. The next wave of subscription channels is already on the way.
 
All the channels say that they're not available in my country. Looks like Youtube is going to pull another Hulu and Netflix :<

Yeah, heaps of them aren't available in my country too. I think it's less youtube though, and more the individual channels doing that.
 
I find it outrageous ... something free turned in to this i mean comon if you are wise enough you can make lots of money just with the free subscription but to have to pay for something like this i might give up on youtube ... its just not worth it ... what if they think its something like the backgrownd ? that we might be forced to pay in the end

None of those paid channels were free to begin with. If you want to watch them on any platform, you have to pay. Youtube is just another option to watch that material.

but for example TYT are free channels in the group and they started like free channels i mean there wasn`t a big company behind them ... at least thats what i understood and they passed to payed now and i`m thinking what stops the other big youtubers to do the same you know ?
