like/dislike ratio for small channels

For me, it seems like the better my videos get, the more dislikes I get. I'm pretty sure someone's botting me with dislikes though because I am getting most of them from Russia and Poland who have a combined 4 views. I have 122 subscribers, 172 likes, and 139 dislikes. This is probably way off because analytics is really slow for me. From my standards, 40 dislikes isn't bad at all.
 
I think it also has a lot to do with WHO you are sharing your videos with and how safe you play the marketing of your channel. If friends, family, and kindhearted YTtalkers are the only folks viewing your videos, there is a good chance that the like button will be heavily favored. Start posting on Reddit or *gulp* 4chan... and you've entered hell my friend. In Hell, thumbs are cut off and stitched back on so that they are in a constant state of disapproval. (sorry for the graphic explanation. @atypicalvideo has me watching Attack on Titan. SHE COULD HAVE WARNED ME THERE WASN'T A SECOND SEASON OUT YET! :banghead2: )

yes reddit is probably where i got them and a few trolls. i know one guys was spamming my content with dislikes and mean comments. although i only got like 5 people from yttalk to view and like my stuff. thats good though considering today im a month old on yttalk :D but yea i love everyone here and i hope they love me back some day xD

you have the best ratio though 122 subs and that many likes ? wow im 10 subs away but so many likes away haha
 
You definitely should have more likes than dislikes if your content is good. Last 30 days for me ive had 3,676 likes and 196 dislikes. If were talking lifetime states, 43,575 likes with 2,861 dislikes. However i would say that im getting alot more likes now than i use to obviously because my content has improved. When i first started lol, a different story.

everyday i test and work things around and right now im uploading like week old stuff that isnt that good, (except the stuff i made with my new friends, tera, Ty and miles etc.) but the newer stuff i recorded in the last few days is like gold to me, i think i done so well for these videos and cant wait to see how people react towards them, im hoping good.

Hmmm, Your videos seem good quality! I'm not sure why you are getting dislikes. Just keep trying and the ratings will get better :)
