Lets plays are dead?

So I have mainly been posting lets plays on my channel. My thumbnails and quality are good and attractive but im afraid thats not enough. Iv been thinking about it and honestly people are flooding youtube with lets plays so its easy to get burred underneath all of that and making it difficult to stand out.

I was wondering if maybe you guys would know anything thats growing or popular right now on youtube. Something thats not like everyone els in a way. Maybe still in the lines of gaming if possible.

I've found that guides/tutorials bring more viewers than LPs. Maybe do that?

With 100 hours of content being uploaded every minute, just about every type of video is being done by tons of people. It might be best to do what you are most passionate about rather than try and force an angle that won't be as enjoyable.

You just need an original slant on it. There's hundreds of LPs like you say but you just need to find a way to make yours different. Or come up with a gimmick ...

Post random people fighting on the bus or someone having a horrible skateboard accident. Or beat a girl on the back of the head with a shovel. Or have your dad run his lawn mower over your video game collection.

I think they are not dead you just need to find your own unique way of bringing it across to the audience.
