Hello guys!
I am in South Korea and am making a YouTube channel providing Korean food cooking videos with recipes. We are targeting the US as our major audience.

I have tried promoting on Facebook and some online communities such as Reddit. Or leaving comments on other famous cooking videos. But the views and subscribes still dont go up as much as we would like.

Is there any advice that i can promote my channel more efficiently?

Thank you ^^

I'd recommend you learning about basic SEO and then targeting the keywords from your niche in your metadata (titles, description and tags.)

If and when you do advertising, target US with ads like in Facebook. I did something similar with a cooking video for a Filipino dish (targeted Philippines), and it seems to have been successful. I will warn you though, US is a tough market to crack with all the competition.

Korean food content has huge potential in the U.S., especially with rising interest in global street food and comfort meals. You could even draw parallels to familiar American favorites to connect better with your audience. For example, showcasing how a Korean bulgogi sandwich offers the same cozy appeal as a Potbelly toasted sub could attract food lovers exploring new flavors. Korean cooking channels actually have really strong potential with U.S. audiences because people there are actively searching for new comfort foods, quick meals, and global flavours. One trick that helps is linking your Korean dishes with something familiar to American viewers. For example, you could explain how your Korean BBQ chicken bowl gives the same cosy, satisfying feel as a hearty grilled chicken meal from a place like Habit Burger — it helps viewers understand the taste and vibe instantly.

Korean food recipes always excite me because of the bold flavors and versatility. I love exploring quick meals that can satisfy both cravings and nutritional needs, especially when balancing busy schedules. Speaking of convenient yet tasty options, I recently checked out the Potbelly menu, which has a great range of sandwiches, soups, and salads that are easy to enjoy at home or work. If anyone wants to see the menu details and prices, here’s a helpful guide: https://potbellymenuprices.com/
