Just got a JVC GZ-EX210

Hello, I just got this new JVC GZ-EX210 video recorder and I wonder if anyone knows about this or has any experience with this model or JVC in general.

I wasn't planning to buy this but I got a nice offer so now I have it.

That's because DSLRs are semi-pro cameras and are designed to be used manually (just like how SLRs don't have an automatic zoom function).

It's a pretty nifty trick though, better than having to keep standing up and fiddling with the camera!

I have a JVC. Mine's an Everio hm30 and it's pretty good. The battery life is craptastic though. Like, really awful. I film with it at home plugged in anyway, so it doesn't bother me. Other than that though, it's pretty good.
