Just curious....

100 subs took me exactly 181 days :D according to le google :) i was super hyped when i saw the number! i have such an awesome community and i just love them! congrats to everyone passing the 100 mark! :D
 
I'm still on the way :D I started to care a little bit about the youtube channel by the beginning of this year and started to share videos on facebook or reddit. I startedmy channel in 2013 but I used it just to upload a very few videos and share with friends, so barely nothing happend back then.

Pretty much the same here, but I was half trying/half getting discouraged and not trying because I thought I was failing already by not getting tons of views. I know now it doesn't work that way. Unless you're lucky. Or just reeeaaalllllly good. Which I am not. For either of those things lol.

You know....I had not taken Youtube seriously for years..only uploaded videos now and then...I think it doesn't look good to have only 28 subs after 2-3 years...it doesn't help with attracting new subscribers.

Now I do SEO and thumbnails, write something in the descriptions,promote in twitter, etc...and i've gone up from 4-5 to 28 subs in a few weeks but that's verrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

It's a bit off-topic, but does this really make an influence?
I can only speak for myself, if I find something I like and want to subscribe I don't take a look on things like this. Either I want to subscribe because of the content or I don't.
And I hope you'll reach 100 subs a bit faaaaaster ;)
