Its confirmed, YouTube rolled out search algorithm changes: Less views

I have not noticed any significant changes in my daily views in the past few months. However, I have been actively updating my channel starting around mid-October, which probably means all data from that point onward is unreliable.

I've done enough research over the last few weeks or so to know for a fact the youtube search is broken. The video I uploaded today took two hours to show up in search and right after that it wasn't on search anymore. If that Isn't a glitch IDK what is. Also I have been investigating other peoples videos including big youtubers! The last update messed up youtube search along with who knows what else. Most people just don't know yet.
 
i don't know...seems to be some speculation going on

i'd like to see hard evidence that the changes are really negative for small channels. but how to get that?!

There is no speculating. If you just took the time to investigate like I did you would see. Check out my new thread. It isn't just effecting small channels it effects everyone but obviously small channels more

while i said "some speculation" i didn't specify who. i wasn't referring to you (i had just finished reading thru the entire thread)
 
Now my views are almost a quarter of what they should be and Google+ is now forced on me. GG NO RE Youtube.
 
Ok so this is why I was only at 1 view or 2 for a long time after uploading my latest video I was so p****d like wth -.-. And I don't even find this fair at all :/ , thanks for sharing anyways.
