Its confirmed, YouTube rolled out search algorithm changes: Less views

I'm really mad my views for my latest videos have been slashed in half. This is killing my channel. I don't know if these search changes have anything to do with it, it could be YT not sending my videos to subs or something but it's absolutely infuriating.

Silly me, never really looked at that chart as you've shown.

I started moving all my videos to Youtube at the end of June. I've been putting up a bunch every week since then.

I just now looked at the views chart from May until now and in May I was getting more views with fewer videos than I did after I started uploading videos regularly and working with my channel.

It seems to be picking up again in October though.

All I can do is to get my videos that I've taken years, literally years of quality time, to record out there and hope over time the revenue begins to grow. It has a little, but I'm still not making anything too significant.

This may be a little off-topic, but I just wanted to say that you've got an impressive channel. :D

While it is great that channels are getting more and more subscribers, there is a downside as well.

That means that more videos are showing up in subscriber's feeds and it is easy to be lost in the pile.

That's why I would like to have a method whereby we can designate certain channels as our Favorites and have a Favorite Subscriptions tab.

You can actually make that. Make a custom tab for your favorites subs.xD

As a viewer, I dont use youtube for viewing. Most of the time I listen to commentaries in the car, and the iphone app called "Jasmine" is great. Super simple, will display the most recent videos from your subscriptions in 2 clicks. Plus allows me to set the quality super low when on 4g to save data minutes, and high quality on wifi.

EDIT: I just read what I wrote and thought it sounded a bit like an ad lol... Im not affiliated with them, just mentioning how the app solves the "favorites" problem.
