Is watching your own videos "cheating"?

Loving YTtalk
I've always pondered about the idea. What are your thoughts on the subject matter? I'm talking about watching your videos to give your videos an extra 100 to 200 views to boost your video in rankings and such. Of course if you did this, you'd turn off monetizing.

Yea it's cheating...That ruins the whole point of YouTube. Having other people view your videos. What's the point of boosting your view count?

No use
I make something so that others can comment and give some feedback which is the main fun part
what good will watching my own videos to me!

Your own views would be taken away by Youtube and I don't think they'd all be counted.

when your views will freeze at 301+ youtube will just delete those fake views and you will be stuck making up for those fake views with real ones.

I believe youtube removes excess views from the same ip every month. IF you looks on socialblade I believe that thats where the -xxxx amt of views come from

when your views will freeze at 301+ youtube will just delete those fake views and you will be stuck making up for those fake views with real ones.
that's their audit system...it makes sure no fake views get counted or anything was missed so ya this person I am quoting is 100% correct... kat sticker for you XD

Yes it is "cheating". Just let other people watch it to boost your views gradually, if they enjoy your content they'll come back and boost the views on your other videos.

Yeah, I would call that cheating.
But I actually watch my own videos, but I watch them to watch them, not to boost the views.

Also need to make sure everything is okay with the recording after it's uploaded.
