Is watching your own videos "cheating"?

I find that really pointless. You want other people to watch your videos, and you want to be more known, but if you watch your own videos 1,000 times, youre the only one whos gonna be watching it.

Any kind of artificial fluffing just defeats the purpose of YT. Plus it doesn't feel as good knowing all the views were you.

Yeah it is cheating, but then again I don't see any rule book that says you can't watch your own videos so go ahead, but it shouldn't be done if monetizing, anyway do whatever you got to do and don't let anyone put you down :)

I sometimes click my own videos by accident to see if the description shows good and then fcourse it starts playing automatically. :/

I recomend if you watch your own videos from another account if you don't want to get banned from youtube. but i am guilty of watching my videos on youtube not because I wanted/ want views but because i want to see how my video looks like on youtube and when i show people e.g cousins or friends my videos.

I'd say I watch my own videos to see the quality of the video and where to add annotations. Also, I may watch my video since I would enjoy my own content :P

Let's be honest, yes we all of course add like 10 views in the end after watching your video after it's done uploading, seeing your mistakes or trying to point something out. I mean like lifetime. I mean if you reply to a comment, that's a view and you don't want to go to the comments page because that glitches and adds the comments it already has and doubles, quadruples them.
