I posted my first video on Boxing Day 2015 (26th December 2015). As of right now, I have 992 subscribers. Is this good going, or could I be doing more to grow my channel faster?

It really depends, have you been uploading regurlarly since that that or have you left the video alone since then and logged back in to find out you have 992 subscribers?

If you do one vid daily, or 2-3 weekly it's not horrible. Could be a lot worse, could be a lot better too. Still something to be proud of... just work twice as hard for next year and aim for 5k or something.
 
For 201 videos I'd say it's not that great as it's about 5 subs per video per average. But if it's how you do it and those that watch come back, then it's all good
 
That seems like good growth to be. I have just over 1000 subs in like a year and a bit of making videos
 
Well, I wish i had that many subs haha. I also think the niche your'e in determines how quick you grow. I'm in to food, so I think i'll be a lot slower to grown than other niches[DOUBLEPOST=1480358044,1480357938][/DOUBLEPOST]

That's interesting to know really. I don't promote my channel anywhere near enough though so that could explain my low sub count per video ratio.
