Is there a list of monetizable covers?

So a few months ago I noticed that Youtube will allow you to monetize certain covers (a notice will appear next to the video apparently that says something like 'Monetize this cover'). My question is, is there a list somewhere of covers that YT allows you to monetize? This would make it a lot easier for someone who wants to earn revenue by covering songs.

I believe that that is music that you can use in your video but whose revenue will go to the musician solely. That is to say that while you will not get a copyright strike (but instead, a 3rd party acknowledgement) you will not be able to share in the revenue. I do not believe that you can share in the monetization of all those songs but I could be wrong.

I meant a cover that you can monetize and share in the revenue with the record company, as per this link: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3301938?hl=en

I'm not sure how many cover artists are members here, but if there are more than a few it would be nice if we could compile a list. Maybe one of them will see this thread and chime in.

Actually I think the link of @Michael is the correct one. You simply must search for your music of interest than click on the title and see if it is "
Monetization Eligible for revenue sharing".

I would speculate that all "Eligible for revenue sharing" songs also will allow covers.

But Yes - as far as I know there is no seperate list of such songs.

I went through 300 600 800 songs (I give up lol) so far and haven't seen one that said "monetization eligible for revenue sharing".

So that is pretty far from what I was looking for, even if one out of every 1000 says that. Where are you finding songs that say that?

Yeah I know that fullscreen allows you to monetize some covers, they've been doing that for a couple years. But Youtube apparently has a deal in place with some record companies as well because they allow you to monetize some covers without being part of a multi channel network like Fullscreen, as per this link: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3301938?hl=en

It would be nice if Youtube would publish a list like Fullscreen's list that tells people what covers are monetizable.

Sorry - I didn't know they are so few. I just clicked on "gangnam style" at the very first page and it was "eligible for revenue sharing". I didn't search further.

In anyway we did a cover of Adele "Rolling in the deep" and it was OK for revenue sharing (may be 25-30% of what normally we make of such movie).[DOUBLEPOST=1433469561,1433469270][/DOUBLEPOST]BTW I went back and from the top 6 songs at first page 3 were eligible for revenue sharing:

I hope we see tha same thing. I am accessing the page from Japan. I think for US and Japan the rules must be the same or at least very similar.
