Is it a good idea to join a network if you're a small youtuber?

You get paid once a month and should get what you earn. :) They don't need a threshold but choose to have one. So Curse, is much better in that aspect.

Yh I agree but YouTube would never do it since its run by the biggest money ******* company so the unions are a good way around it.

When with a network, that's always the case too.

For example, Union for Gamers would be paying you 90% of that 55%.
I don't mind giving them 10% of that for the tools and chance to have my money. Other networks are much bigger cuts. I'm aware that 10% goes to Curse.

Right, but the 45/55 cut is still in effect as well. YouTube still receives their 45% cut. That never changes.

I am aware. But I receive 90% of that and give 10% to curse to pay for the services of theirs I use, and I use a LOT more than 10% worth of their music, and etc.

I'm making ~$1/day right now with Legacy Network. Of course, I'm putting the revenue back in plus some with advertising so that I can reach a bigger audience. And I hope I can continue to grow like this until I'm making ~$5-10/day, then whatever's left over I can profit.

I have a suggestion. Get 1,000 subscribes and apply to Curse: Union for Gamers. Curse is contract-free, has great music and analytic tools, very sweet staff and a 90/10 split and no minimum payout. Basically you can actually start to touch your money. I would never sign a contract at this point either but Curse has been nothing but good to me and I've been with them for several months now.
What good is a gaming network going to do a straight Vlogger, Miss Fushi? You at least have some gaming content on your own channel.

You really should have a look at an OP's channel before making such a recommendation, unless of course you are recruiting for Curse, an act forbidden by Forum Rules.

I'm quite happy with my network over at Legacy, and they're trying to break away from being just a gaming network. Really sucks that I haven't gotten a hold of anyone for a while though because of the holiday season.

I'm not sure how you mean that but it comes off as very rude. I will act as if your intention was not to sound snappy and you had general concern. I am a content creator, I don't work for Curse.

OP asked "So I was wondering if a joining a network would help my channel grow? And is it a good idea overall to join a network if you're a small YouTuber?" They didn't ask for a Network for them, they asked if one was helpful. I answered their question. Curse is fantastic and helps me a lot.
