IS 1080p worth its?

Well to be fair, there are already plenty of videos on this ;P
there are several low response time 1440p monitors that are cheaper than their 1080p countpart, simply because you're not buying into the brand.
There's nothing wrong with 1080p, it looks amazing, and with good hardware it is fantastic. Though having more is even better ;P
Lol you're right. But it's never too late, could go over your thoughts on 4K / 2K, etc etc.

Thinking about it, humans naturally want the better product. I'll skip on the Ks for now. At least until I get to see it first hand. But by that time 10K would probably be out haha. I'm probably the cheapest person ever.

Well 10k will never really be a thing, here's why.
1440p isn't really 2k, it's a bit below 2k, 1600p is 2k.
1920 x 1080
2560 x 1600
3840 x 2160
If you want to maintain a resolution ratio, you're not gonna get 10k exactly.
Probably around 8k, then 16k.

unless 16:9 suddenly gets disproven as poopoo and goess off trend.

How do you do the math for that? The ratio just needs to be 16:9 right?
Hopefully people just won't return to that dreadful 4:3, good lawwwd.

I assume with a calculator.

I've never found myself upset because I miss 1080p - in fact I almost always watch in 720p cause 1080p takes too long to load.

To be quite honest i watch most video's still in 360p because i forget or too lazy to switch quality in 720p/1080p:p

Currently, Nope, however in the next to come Years when we're all trolling Fiber Optic (*cough* Google Fiber *cough*) and 4k Monitors it will be nice to have.

You have to factor in the fact that download speed for 1080 videos are going to be slow, a lot of people also watch youtube on a smartphone anyway. They will either change set their video to play at a lower resolution if they know how to, or just give up watching

Ok first of, no that's not "undecided" it's scientifically proven
Second of all, 1440p isn't 4k, it's 2k.[DOUBLEPOST=1388526925,1388526883][/DOUBLEPOST]
If it wasn't recorded in 2160p, then the quality won't be better from rendering it like that.
I'll render every video like that when I get my new computer, just to send a message.
@uberdanger I actually made the animations in 2560x1440. All the graphics are also high resolution. My intro was rendered in 4096x2304, but I sized it down. The whole thing is in high resolution, promise. I can send you the original animations if you want. I <3 pixels.
