Intro Or No Intro?

So I have been wondering if I should put in intro before my videos or just put my thumbnail on for 2 seconds with music like some others do. What would keep your attention more? Please reply back! The same thing about an outro?

P.S: I am a gaming channel

I am kind of split on this as well, I think if they are done right they can be pretty good but I recently quit using my intro just because I like to get straight to the point and felt it was killing the vibe of the video in a way.

If you have an intro, make it very short. If it's too long, your retention will decline very quickly, and you don't want that.

I think a short intro could be pretty cool I have one I was thinking about getting an outro but I don't think i can be bothered to make it I vote have an intro ^_^

An intro and outro should be fine. However, the intro should be less than 3 seconds.

I use only a short intro o my videos. Outro AND intro is a bit too much bullcrap and not enough content.

Its just a little and boring waste of time... and made by an amateur in 5 minutes. Dont need something like this
