if its for a game then Playclaw if its for desktop tutorials i suggest camstudio (its free but unreliable.)

I use CamStudio, although most people give up on it because they can't configure it right. I say that if you configure it right, it'll be easy to use it from here on out after getting the settings right on it the first time. But, that's just me. =)

Camtasia will work pretty well. Pretty cheap and easy to use.

Thank you , but i used Camtasia ,but failed , so i used Total Screen Recorder now ,I think it is also nice and very easy to use .you can try it ,it have trial version o.

PC use fraps . fraps is very good and records to your standards and u choose everything....if your on mac use screenium or the built in quick time player
