I'm looking for a screen recording program.

If you have a Mac, you can use the in-built quicktime screen recording function. However, with PC, I'd probably recommend buying Fraps or Playclaw; they're the best and most reliable as far as i know

It does depend on what youre going to be using it for, I will say Fraps for gaming and Camtasia Studio for recording your desktop for tutorials etc

Camtasia for desktop recording and FRAPS for recording gameplay (games)

HyperCam is a free and awesome desktop recorder but Fraps is beast for games.

I use Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture, which is just a free program for download. If you want to go more high-tech than that, I don't know what to say, sorry :/

You can use Debut Video Capture Software! To me it's the best out of all screen capturing programs, so you might want to try it out
