I will probably leave YouTube for another platform

There are other ways to monetize videos besides ads... I think it's fair (although I still think it sucks) that if you chose to use bad language or talk about certain subjects you don't get to put ads on your video, that doesn't mean it's still not a profitable platform. Even without the adsense you can grow an audience, sell merch, get sponsors, etc.
 
There is literally nowhere else to go. DailyMotion is dead compared to Youtube unless you're already super huge (if Markiplier went there for example), and Vessel? Yeah right. From what I saw that place is only for straight up legit shows that require a studio, excellent lighting, expensive camera/computer equipment and good actors for skits and stuff... not just the regular guy vloggin in his room or cat videos.

And Facebook? All I see are those short vine videos, but not actual vlogs or reviews or anything like that. Twitch seems to be livestreaming. Can't really film a skit live.

I might. For now the best bet on traffic/exposure for video uploads is obviously on Youtube and it'll probably stay like that for a long while.

and wow, this is actually great lmao. I would definitely switched to this BUT the problem is, the community is too small for now. The biggest creators they have average on around 18k views I think, with videos averaging from 18-30 views. As much as I like their platform, they need a way to let people know they exist. Maybe even helping out creators with great potential to make videos exclusive on their website, and help promote it.
 
Nothing else would come close to YouTube. It has the tools and the feels no other site has. Dailymotion feels crap and limited compared to YT.
 
Do you think there would be something wrong with simply uploading to and monetizing both platforms? Would one (or both) ban you for doing that? Would they not care?
