Well critique me
Alrighty, critique time!
- The intro runs a bit long - I don't know anything about your channel, or what the video is about for the first 8 seconds. I think it'd be fine if the logo was your channel name, but you need to use the first 10 seconds of a video to hook people in.
- The audio after your intro is over is ridiculously quiet. Compress it up!
- Your personal microphone is fairly low quality compared to the gameplay audio. Definitely prioritize your own voice over gameplay.
- There's no real introduction from you. Take a moment to acknowledge the audience at the beginning of your clip to make them feel more immersed.
- The image at 0:23 is pandering to the lowest-common-denominator. It's going to lose you any chance of a female audience, and makes me not want to take your video seriously.
- Your language is blue enough to really lose an audience. Consider cleaning things up for YouTube.
- If you're going to continue to do image overlays, I'd suggest setting them to perhaps 30% opacity, so you don't interrupt the viewer from whatever they may have been looking at. I'd probably be more selective about which ones make it in - some of the gags seem forced.
- ...aaaaand racist terms are not a good idea in YouTube videos.
- ...aaaaand homophobic slurs. This is pretty much unwatchable. I think you need to work on yourself before you can work on your videos, honestly.
- There's no outro/call-to-action/etc. You want something like that there to get people to keep watching. Though honestly, I'd recommend deleting this video.
