I think I've been botted?

I followed this: yttalk.com/threads/how-to-get-subs-fast-through-ad-campaigns.104497/ but I actually had a narrow audience according to AdWords. I think targeting an audience outside of gaming might damage the retention and thus the actual views. But it's up to you. The first campaign I did cost $10 and only got me 500 but that's just running it, I did nothing really, except change the regions and added 3 category things. The fact the retention was nice and high for the video when I ran the first campaign made it worth it alone. But I have to wait for this analytics to update -.- Today has been a good day lol
Yea my average audience retention has always been really good on Adwords, so I am not sure if that is actually a good idea...

Oh that's good, what's not a good idea? Aiming outside gaming audience? I might try this AdWords thing again someday after this 1 finishes. It seems like you just need to know how to use it and have a video that catches people in the first 10 seconds before they click skip lol

I have no problem with getting people to watch the whole thing, but it is just too expensive to get significant results unless you get super lucky like you did. :)

Botting hasn't been a thing on YouTube since like 2009. Most bots don't even get past the registration system nowadays.

People just like your content! Also, the fact you used AdWords means people saw ads of your videos and there's more traffic through there.
Not more to it, mate![DOUBLEPOST=1391868066,1391868032][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh well, great, now I look like a massive tool as well. Woops.
