If you suck at talking, telling stories isn't going to remedy that. You'll have to practice sounding entertaining and do practice videos of talking about a random topic for at least 2 minutes (you don't have to upload those). Uploading content that is sub-par to what you could be putting up after some time/effort is a serious waste of time.

And yeah you can edit the bad parts out or do retakes. Easier if you record the game and voice in 2 seperate files.
