I've Got It
Does anyone else get a lot of annoyingly fake comments?
I get a lot of ytbers commenting on my videos saying something along the lines of this...
"OMG, I love your videos! You should have so many more subscribers. Subscribe to my channel and I'll sub back."
That's obviously fake.
If they loved my videos so much, they would already be subscribed to me. There are tons of people I'm subbed to that have never even heard of my channel.
What's really annoying is, it will be people with close to 1,000 subscribers.

I get them often on a video i uploaded a while back. its got near 250k views and everyone who did the glitch post the same stuff you said, yet if they meant what they said, i would be way higher than 2500subs and defiantly be getting more views on my other videos
 
I always find it funny when I get these because the person will do a shoutout series (which in my opinion is a big mistake) basically their subscriber amount to their view ratio is gawd awful...it just happens to be annoying to comment on someone's video like that

I think they see it as a way of free advertising.

I love tht yt marks most of these comments as spam now, because frankly, I think it's a little rude. I don't make videos for people to spam them up all the time. One girl commented on my welcome video, which has different clips from past videos included in it.
She said how much she "loved my haul video" and to check out her channel. Another person replied and told her she was obviously trying to advertise and didn't even watch it, so the girl commented on one of my other videos telling me how rude I am.
I was just like woe, I didn't even reply to you. lol Check my username please. haha

I don't mind it as i guess it motivates a little but having the same thing over and over:

Does get repetitive and annoying… I'd love to reply to them but if they are the same comment like 2000 other comments, i don't see the point as i most likely have said thanks already

That is true, in a way they are helping boosting your video rankings, as i believe search results are based on 3 main things: Views, Ratings and comments[DOUBLEPOST=1425409426,1425408787][/DOUBLEPOST]
