I lost custom thumbnails?

Either this is another glitch, or YouTube is changing custom thumbnail policies again? I'm 95% done with a video upload and I still don't see the custom thumbnail option that I normally see. My adsense is working fine, I have no account strikes, and I've been regularly monetizing my videos. My last one went up last Thursday with no problems. Has anyone else seen this today?

I've had custom thumbnails for over a year now.

I remember reading on the forums about how you have to wait for the video to be fully uploaded to youtube before you add the custom thumbnail? Supposed to help with uploading/processing speed or something.
 
I don't get the option either let the video fully upload then go into your video manager then go under the edit function on the video then you can select a custom thumbnail from there Enjoy!
 
Don't worry too much about it, everyone is experiencing this at the moment. It's either a bug, or youtube has decided to change it because of the increase in upload speed it supposedly gives, which sound a bit far fetched to me...

Video file is 986mb, thumbnail is less than 1mb! Why would they think it could ever impact the upload speed for more than a second...
 
Well up until today, I was always able to add a custom thumbnail during the upload. So then YouTube must have changed that recently.
 
I'm pretty sure that if you set it with scheduled you get it right away. So you can probably just set it to go public like 1 min after or something. :P
