Depends how you do it, I'd never post a comment on someone else's channel because it's spamming, disrespectful and I know people that click on those just to dislike their stuff. Try sharing your vids on forums about your niche and reddit is always a good place, you can get a load of veiws there if you don't care about your retention dropping like a brick.
