I Give Up.

Your social blade says your channel was created on April 5th, 2015, you have 3 videos, 234 subscribers, and 136 views. You had a new channel. What kind of growth were you hoping for in a span of four months?

And there are channels who have been toiling away for longer than you, @GreenFrank, who have less subscribers than you - some who haven't even hit 100. How are comments like your OP supposed to make them feel? Put it into some perspective, and realize that those same people aren't "giving up" like you have - they continue to create content because they love what they do. So the question is: have you fallen out of love with it? If so, then yeah, stopping now is your best call. It's nobody's job here to try and talk you out of it. It's a damn shame, but at the end of the day it's your call. I do hope you'll keep your channel, as I think you have unique content, and I hate to see anyone give up, but like I said, no one can or should force you to stay if your heart isn't in it.

Either way, I hope you'll be happy in whatever decision you make.

That is really good growth for that short of time and really not that many videos. You were heading in the right direction!

I agree. 234 subscribers is a good amount for a new channel. To be honest though, you have to produce a lot more than three videos in four months to get the results he wants.

GreenFrank, were you promoting your channel or no? With 234 subscribers you should have had way more than 136 views. The thing is, if you're new and have no connections, no one will know about your channel. If you don't promote, not many people will watch your content.

yeah, the more you do it with that as your only mindset the higher the chances you'll fail. He's doing fine, hell with only 3 videos since April maybe he's doing a little TOO well.
He's only doing fine with the amount of subscribers he's gained. The amount of views his channel has are a different story. The amount of subscribers doesn't mean anything to a channel if the amount of views aren't getting better with time.

I actually created over eighteen videos before th rebranding started.

I have created many videos before the rebranding process, that included a video about sad potatoes, a slideshow, etc. After calming down for a while, I have decided to ressurrect myself with the help of some people I know. Thank you all for the support.

I was being too emotional over this. Now I have been able to find a suitable name for my channel and social media platforms.[DOUBLEPOST=1438574050,1438573910][/DOUBLEPOST]
Why didn't you post them? That's a lot of unused content.

They weren't good enough, and they didn't stick well to the name of Harry the Googly Ball. I still have the scripts, but they are laying deep in my onedrive storage. As of right now, I have created a new foundation dubbed Ray the Blue Fish.[DOUBLEPOST=1438574546][/DOUBLEPOST]

I had over two thousand views before the rebrand started. Youtube deducts the lifetime views after the videos get deleted. After my channel was rebranded to TheGreenFrank, I felt I almost achieved a groundwork success in individuality, but there was a guy on Instagram who already took the handle. It sort of bothered me to insanity. And that problem grew on me over time.

Many of my close friends actually prefered Ray the Blue Fish, and so now I have undergone another rebrand. My partnership is still verified on the same URL luckily. The other social medias don't have that username yet, so I have spent the last hour claiming raythebluefish usernames.

I will not give up again. This may be the last chance. This is the seventh resetting of a channel I have done, and so this will be the last. Thank you all for the support.

If the fact that someone took that Instagram handle was bothering you so much that you decided to shut down your channel, changing your name isn't going to help with that problem.

Stop focusing on the details so much, stop focusing on "succeeding" so much, and focus on making the best god damn videos you can.

Nothing will be purged ever again. This is the last shot, and I will make it better than ever. Rest in fishes. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1438575339,1438575233][/DOUBLEPOST]

I promise I will not go overboard with the small details. Everything has been set, and I won't let you all down. Tomorrow (well today it just passed 12) the channel undergo a facelift.

People usually tend to give up on something they almost had. You gotta remember why you started Youtube in the first place to give you motivation to continue it. It's just like meeting a girl for the first time and falling in love. After a year or two you get tired of her, but then you got to realize why you started loving her in the first place. It truly helps, you shouldn't give up on something you started for a reason.
