I Don't Understand People Like This

Horror Versions
Sometimes I legitimately wonder if some people can even feed themselves. Much too often for my own peace of mind I encounter people that will answer an "option A or option B" question with an answer like "OK". I feel like I make this face way more often than anyone should have to:
Jackie-Chan-WTF.jpg

A recent example (not nearly as extreme as the above) that reminded me of this is someone with the YouTube username Charlie CampbellFNAF. Charlie, like lots of my viewers, requested I do a specific video on my channel. Unlike most of them, his was a little vague:

Charlie CampbellFNAF: Can you do my video in a horror version?
I checked out his channel to find this "one-and-only" video, or at least find one that stood out as obviously the one he was talking about. It would only make sense that such a video would exist because that is the only reasonable reason that someone would submit a request with so little information. I found he had 441 subscribers and 118 videos. None of them stood out from any of the others in the least. The latest 12 were uploaded a month ago. So, I tried to clarify:

Me: Which one are you talking about?
Charlie CampbellFNAF: Foxy & Friends season 2
Okay, well at least he answered and clarified. I did find a video entitled "Foxy & Friends theme song season 2". I watched it and saw that the audio featured some kids singing a parody of the Barney & Friends theme song, only with things about Foxy from Five Nights At Freddy's. The visuals just contained a slideshow of images of Foxy and kids. I decided that this wasn't the type of video I wanted on my channel, but I was in a giving mood, so I whipped something up and put it on my Dropbox so that he could upload it on his channel. It would fit better on his channel and would be something different and cool for his viewers as well.

Instead of replying with the link to the video on my Dropbox, I decided to send him a message with it instead. I did this because I wasn't sure if it would mark it as spam (and I don't trust people to check their comment spam) and I also didn't want other people to be able to download it. So I sent him the following message:

Hey, so this video isn't really one I want to do and put up on my channel, mainly because it isn't a well-known video and there isn't a lot of animation in it, but for this time I decided I'll just send you the video and you can put it up on your channel. Here's the link to it: (link)
Not sure if he would get a notification about a new message, I also replied to his request:

Me: Nice. I checked it out. I sent you a message on here, so check your messages.
Charlie CampbellFNAF: Ok
And... that was it. No further replies. Half a day later he still hadn't followed up and hadn't uploaded it to his channel. I can't tell if someone downloads something from my Dropbox. I knew I was going above and beyond, but I didn't want this to just never happen because of some miscommunication. So I sent him a comment on his video that he wanted me to do a "horror version" of:

Me: Did you get my message on here? If you did, did you download the video I linked to?
Charlie CampbellFNAF: I read your message
Oh. You read it. I see. Well, that's nice to know. AND!?

Me: Okay. Do you think you'll upload it?
Charlie CampbellFNAF: I don't got this app, idk...
Meh, who cares? Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Don't know. Why the apathetic answer? But I can understand the part about not having that app. I've noticed that when someone goes to a link I shared from Dropbox, it asks them to sign in. Often people click away because they don't want to sign up. That's understandable. But you can just click the link below that says to just download it without signing in.

Me: You don't need the Drobox app to download the file. Just tell it you don't want to set up an account and it will let you download it. If that doesn't work, I can upload it somewhere else and send it.
Charlie CampbellFNAF: Ok
Just "Ok" again. That was yesterday. I looked today and there's still no new upload. I wouldn't mind if he downloaded it and is just considering if he wants to upload it or not. But I don't want to delete it off my Dropbox and then have him finally get around to downloading it and find that it is gone. So, today I replied one more time:

Me: Okay, well I was waiting for you to download it so I could delete it from my Dropbox so it isn't taking up as much space. I'll leave it on there until tomorrow. I did the work to create the video so I'd hate for it to go to waste.
Charlie CampbellFNAF: Ok
We'll see how it goes from there.

Are my expectations skewed?

It sounds like one of those disappointed ''Ok''s. I got a random stranger just a few weeks ago randomly asking me to draw them ''in human form'' without any further context.
I give them a short paragraph message of why they shouldn't just bluntly ask for those things for future reference in case the person they're asking is busy atm. Tried to not sound rude as possible.

''k''

I refuse to deal with people who give a one or two word answer after I type a bunch of stuff. If you can't type an entire sentence then you are not worth my time. Here we are making an effort to communicate properly while someone else is too busy or lazy or whatever to tell you something substantial instead of "ok" or "lol". I would have just said "Eh, you don't seem that eager so whatevs" but that's just me.

I remember I tried to share a file on dropbox but the person only has a phone at the time. It prompted them to install the app and would not download or even open the file if you don't have the app installed.

The person you were talking to must not have a computer that they can use easily (maybe). But the "OK" without explaining bit makes me think this person is awkward. Hmm...

That's a good point and I hadn't considered that. But they have lots of videos and they don't look like they could be made on a phone. I'd email it, but a video is probably above the size limit of most email services. Too bad YouTube doesn't have a feature of upload and transfer to another account.

Try google drive. I have a 900 MB file uploaded there when I was sharing a video with my family. I sent the link to them on whatsapp and they can open it with their phones(except my mom =_=) but not sure if they can download it tho. I didn't ask further if they did.
