I Don't Get It.

I've read some threads stating that one doesn't need to monetize videos when partnering with a network.

If that's the case, where do the income FOR THE NETWORK come from?

For example:

I partner with "Hi-we-are-a-network" network, and after that, I shut down the monetization for ALL my videos. Every single video in my channel has NO ads.

Where's the profit for the network? If I, having 0 monetized videos, don't generate money from ads?

Hope you guys understand what I'm saying, sorry if my english is poor.

Thanks for reading!

Well it comes from the other partners...

If you're not going to monetize any of your videos, there is no need to join a network.

they'll make money from other partners, however, it's kinda pointless to join a network and not monetize your videos

You didn't understand my point.
Can you please read again?
And also, It's not my case. Just wondering.[DOUBLEPOST=1371524356,1371524259][/DOUBLEPOST]Well, I think is kinda pointless letting someone partner with your network if that someone is not going to generate any income at all.

I did read it again. From what I understand, you are asking where the networks generate income if you don't monetize any videos, and that would be from other partners.

Sorry but I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.

You got it right.

Let's say every single partner in some network decide to disable monetization for their videos.

Now you get my point?

No being with a network can give a lot of benefits it's not all about monetization, in fact unless you've got a big channel monetization is probably the smallest part of it. And in that case no they wouldn't get any money, they just assume you'll monetize i guess because it's mutually beneficial

If that was to happen, the network wouldn't make any money and they wouldn't be able to pay their partners. Of course that would never happen though, so no need to worry.

Correct. In this case, the Network would not receive any money.
At the moment, I am with Fullscreen. I can't disable ads on videos that are already uploaded. I would have to email my partner manager and ask them to disable ads. On ads that I currently upload, I can disable ads right when I upload.

I'm not worried tbh, I was just wondering why networks allow they partners to remove the monetization of their videos. I just don't see the sense of it.
