I can't help feeling a little discouraged...

Since I started taking YT seriously . I have taken everyone's advice seriously.

I was told to make eye catching thumbnails...done

I was told to brand my channel... Okay...(I think)

I was told to mingle on social media like face book and Twitter...done

I was told to become a fan of other channels...done

My only issue was that I struggled to be consistent. Now publish at least one video a week.

I'm at the point were I spend most of my free time editing promoting and researching and after all these things I still struggle with channel activity.

Please someone just review my channel. Let me know what I can do to make it better.

Since we're not a gaming channel, I can only give you some input from my perspective. Please don't take anything i say as discouragement, but here are some things that i think can help.

- First things first, as a gaming channel nowadays, you need a niche. Something that separates you from the other gaming channels (big and small) out there. Not to say your content is not unique, but something that will grab people's attention. Like your channel trailer was freaking awesome, that was super creative. I loved that.

- Also have you paid attention to how your audience is responding to the video you have been recently posting. Are longer videos better? Has your watch time gone down since you uploaded videos? You can try playing some indie games (if you can or want to) or different games to switch up the variety of stuff you upload and see you how your audience reacts.

- If you want to stay consistent on uploading, you can utilize the upload scheduler if you haven't already. I see you have 30min videos, you can cut those down to 10min and upload them in parts every day or every other day. Make sure to add your intro and outro to each part of you decide to do it this way. So, that's one way you can go.

- Now, If you want to direct the traffic towards you on your videos, you got to switch up your titles. I would suggest "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Mo' Blivion) Part 1 - inserttitlenamehere" Something along the lines of that. That will greatly help rank your videos when someone searches for them. Always put the name of the game first, the part number, and then the title of your choosing. that seems to be the formula of titles you see on gaming channels.

- Your thumbnails are great actually, but I think for a let's play, you want to have a consistent thumbnail so that your audience can recognize it quickly. I would suggest using an actual oblivion picture, or a screenshot from the game that can be used for every thumbnail, and put the Mo' Blivion logo you have over that, and i think that would look good. Of course, that's only if you want because your thumbnails are great as it is already.

- Utilize your descriptions more. You can put a short sentence on what happens in the video, but fill it up more. Put your social media links in there, tell us a short summary of what the game is about. And have that for every description.

- I'm sure you know your audio can be better, but I know it can expensive to improve so i wouldn't worry too much about that.

That's about it from me. Your intro and outro are great, you got playlists which is good, your thumbnails are great, your commentary is really good, and keep sharing them on social media. I hope that helped you a little bit! Don't feel discouraged, some things take a lot of time to get the ball rolling, all you can do is learn more and to keep working hard at it!

Thanks for the advice. I'll change the title and look at other TES oblivion videos to see how they used the description

I started looking at the numbers to soon. I decided not to worry about the stats and just enjoy myself.

Trim your vids, I've found that alot of people are more interested in slightly snappier videos - I too, am the same.
But other than that I like your content, maybe some collaboration might help?

Hello buddy! I think that Nick said pretty much everything you needed and I can feel you a lot (especially on the audio part, in fact I should change the mic soon). We all want to obtain at least something a bit more rewarding from our videos but for us gaming channels is so freaking hard ( not impossible!) to obtain more visibility and yeah changing games you are playing can help, but much more can be done with the SEO ( title, tags and description are essential!).

Don't be demoralized, it's hard we all know it's hard but you need to keep the consistency!
