Depending on the size of your room, yeah. Another cheaper alternative is to get a set of clip lights

These are really cheap here in the states - only 8 bucks at Home Depot. You get a daylight balance CFL bulb, a piece of printer paper (or wax paper), and some clothes pins. Pin the paper to the metal housing and you've got a soft light that you can clip to the back of a chair or table and store very easily.

I think the soft light i found will be easier for me tbh.. It's also cheaper.
